Serena is very well known in the Big Band Swing & Jazz scene, fronting Sticky Wicket’s Fabulous Swing Band on the world stage and working with well known International; musicians, but she is also an up and coming singer/songwriter in her own right. She completed her Debut CD at Celestial Sound Studios in Sutton Coldfield
with engineer and producer, Andy Wheeler.

‘Fledgling Flier’, written and performed in partnership with Guitarist Chris Matthews, was released on the 14th February, 2003. The songs are sometimes emotional, sometimes sad and sometimes funny. However, all the songs are well constructed and original, with sensitive lyrics that everyone can relate to.
